Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC) or similar security monitoring role.
• Proven experience with SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, QRadar, ELK Stack) and EDR solutions.
• Strong understanding of networking protocols, TCP/IP, common attack vectors, and threat landscapes.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring security alerts from SIEM, IDS/IPS, and EDR solutions.
• Analyzing security events to identify potential threats and incidents, and performing initial triage.
• Responding to security incidents, including containment, eradication, and recovery steps.
