The ideal candidate has a 2–4 year SOC background, hands-on SIEM experience (Splunk/QRadar/LogRhythm), strong network knowledge, and a proactive approach to threat detection and remediation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in cybersecurity, preferably in a SOC.
• Hands-on experience with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar, LogRhythm).
• Knowledge of network protocols, security principles, and common attack vectors.
• Familiarity with endpoint detection and response (EDR) solutions.
• Understanding of incident response frameworks and methodologies.
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, or GSEC are a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and reporting abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid team setting.
