Job summary

Psybergate is seeking an experienced Security Architect to own end-to-end security for enterprise mobile banking platforms. You will govern security across mobile apps, APIs, cloud infrastructure, and backend services, and lead threat modelling and secure design patterns.

The role requires expertise in OAuth 2.0, OIDC, PKCE, device-bound credentials, and Zero Trust principles. Remote work options are available within South Africa.

Qualifications

• Degree in a relevant field with deep security expertise.
• Proven security architecture design experience in regulated industries.
• Solid knowledge of mobile app security and cloud-native security.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end security architecture for enterprise mobile banking platforms.
• Govern security across apps, APIs, cloud, and DevSecOps pipelines.
• Lead threat modelling and design patterns aligned with Zero Trust.
• Define cloud security controls across Azure, AWS, or GCP environments.
