Job summary

Discovery Limited is seeking a Security Solutions (Cloud) Architect to lead secure cloud architectures across GCP as the primary platform, with AWS and Azure support. The role balances architecture ownership, cloud security consulting, and engineering oversight, and requires hands-on validation when needed.

The candidate will guide secure onboarding, enforce security by design, and ensure alignment to standards across on-prem and cloud environments.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in IT and/or Information Security.
• 5+ years in cloud security architecture or engineering.
• 2 years Layer 7 enterprise firewall experience.
• Proven experience designing and governing enterprises, hybrid, and multi-cloud environments.
• Experience operating in a consultative or advisory role within complex organisations.

Responsibilities

• Define, govern, and guide secure cloud architectures across GCP, AWS, and Azure.
• Lead secure onboarding of new cloud environments and ensure security by design.
• Provide architectural oversight for DevSecOps and secure software supply chains.
• Define secure connectivity patterns between cloud platforms and on-premises environments.
• Produce clear security architecture documentation.
