Job summary

CrossBoundary Group is seeking a full-time Systems & Security Engineer in Johannesburg to enhance their technology and security measures. The role requires a strong understanding of security architecture and cloud infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will lead initiatives to improve security posture and manage cloud environments while working collaboratively with multiple teams to ensure best practices and compliance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of infrastructure engineering experience with scripting and automation.
• Strong understanding of cloud resource provisioning and security controls.
• Practical experience with system security vulnerabilities and remediation techniques.

Responsibilities

• Own and advance the organization's security posture across various layers.
• Design, deploy, and manage Microsoft Azure environments.
• Lead security awareness training sessions across the organization.
