Job summary

Cloud Direct seeks a Senior Security Lead to architect and own our security capability. You’ll shape detection, response, automation, and AI usage across the Microsoft Security stack while building a high-performing security team reporting to the CEO and leadership group.

You’ll design end-to-end monitoring, lead incident response, mentor analysts, and drive a modern security service that scales with customer needs. This hands-on leadership role defines our security posture and market offerings.

Qualifications

• Hands-on security operations and incident response leadership required.
• Deep knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK and threat-hunting practices.
• Experience building or maturing security operations for MSP/MSSP environments.
• Ability to mentor junior analysts and translate findings for leadership.

Responsibilities

• Design and operate end-to-end security monitoring using Microsoft Sentinel and Defender.
• Lead detection engineering, runbooks, and incident response for P1/P2 threats.
• Coordinate containment, eradication, and recovery across incidents.
• Mentor analysts, establish operating rhythms, and drive capability growth.
• Define coverage models balancing human expertise and automation.
• Produce leadership-ready security performance reports and governance artifacts.
• Collaborate with Sales/Pre-Sales to shape managed security services.
