Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking Sales Development Representatives across South Africa who will own top‑of‑funnel activities, researching and booking meetings with qualified decision makers.

You will use LinkedIn, Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and Salesforce to hit volume goals while keeping touchpoints high quality. This is a remote, full‑time role with a focus on thoughtful outreach and pipeline growth.

Qualifications

• 2 years in SDR/BDR role; agency or SaaS experience is a plus.
• Strong written communication with ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools and building contact lists.
• Proficient in Salesforce and pipeline management.
• Gritty, curious and coachable.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on our ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for our Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
