Job summary

Blacksmith Agency seeks an energetic Sales Development Representative to open doors and drive pipeline across South Africa. You will research, contact and schedule meetings with decision makers, creating the first impression of Blacksmith to potential clients.

You will use tools like Salesforce, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo to craft personalized outreach, build accurate lists and hand off qualified opportunities to Account Executives.

Qualifications

• 2 years in SDR or BDR role; agency or SaaS experience is a plus.
• Strong written communication with the ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo; comfortable using Salesforce.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging and optimize targeting with the sales team.
