Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is hiring Sales Development Representatives across South Africa who drive pipeline and open doors by researching, sourcing and booking meetings with qualified decision makers. You’ll create the first impression of Blacksmith for potential clients and manage the top of the funnel using tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and Salesforce.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years in an SDR/BDR role, agency or SaaS experience is a plus.
• Strong written communication with the ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools such as Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on ICP for South Africa.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging and optimize targeting with the sales team.
