Blacksmith Agency is seeking a Sales Development Representative to open doors and drive pipeline nationwide across South Africa. You will own the top of the funnel—researching accounts, identifying decision makers, and booking meetings with qualified prospects.

You will employ personalized outreach via email, LinkedIn and phone, while maintaining clean Salesforce and SalesLoft records. Strong communication, grit and coachability are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 2 years in a similar SDR/BDR role.
• Strong written communication and ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.
• Gritty, curious and coachable.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on our ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for our Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
