Job summary

Uyandiswa Project Management Services seeks a skilled Scrum Master to guide client teams in adopting Agile ways of working. You will facilitate ceremonies, remove impediments, and coach teams and stakeholders to continuously improve delivery velocity and quality.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or a related field and a Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or PSM certification, with 3-5 years’ experience. Familiarity with Jira, Azure DevOps, and Confluence is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or a related field.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PSM, or equivalent Agile certification required.
• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach, ideally across multiple teams or clients.
• Experience facilitating Agile transformations within a consulting or corporate environment.
• Familiarity with Agile tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or Confluence.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives for one or more Agile teams.
• Coach teams, Product Owners, and stakeholders on Agile principles, Scrum practices, and self-organisation.
• Proactively identify and remove impediments blocking team progress and delivery.
• Track and communicate team velocity, sprint burndown, and delivery metrics to relevant stakeholders.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and transparency within the team.
• Support backlog refinement and help maintain a healthy, well-prioritised product backlog alongside the Product Owner.
