The role requires accurate handling of payments, benefits, deductions and payroll controls in a fast-paced environment.

You will ensure compliance with South African payroll legislation, handle data securely, and support audits and reporting.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented payroll professional with SAGE 300 People expertise.
• Experience in end-to-end payroll processing and compliance.
• Knowledge of SA payroll legislation and statutory submissions.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end monthly payroll and weekly payments on SAGE 300 People.
• Process payroll transactions: appointments, transfers, salary changes, leave, bonuses, benefits, deductions.
• Maintain payroll configurations, leave management, and salary schedules.
• Coordinate onboarding, changes, banking verification and payslip simulations.
• Administer benefits and provider reconciliations.
• Handle terminations, final pays and exit documentation.
• Reconcile payroll with GL, bank payments and statutory deductions.
• Prepare salary files and upload monthly payments to bank.
• Ensure compliance with SA payroll laws and reporting requirements.
• Prepare payroll reports and respond to employee queries.
