Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• Pr. Eng. with ECSA registration
• 7+ years of experience in roads/transportation engineering

Responsibilities

• Lead the design of road projects, including geometric design, pavement design, and drainage systems.
• Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
• Manage and mentor junior engineers and technicians within the design team.
• Conduct site investigations and feasibility studies.
• Liaise with clients, local authorities and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with design codes and standards (e.g., SANS).
• Oversee tender documentation and assist in evaluations.
• Provide technical support during construction.
• Conduct quality control reviews of design deliverables.
• Contribute to business development activities and proposals.
