The role focuses on developing risk management frameworks, conducting stress tests, and delivering strategic risk insights to senior leadership, while upholding regulatory standards such as Basel Accords and Solvency II.

Qualifications

• Master's degree preferred in a quantitative field.
• Minimum of 6 years of risk management experience in financial services or insurance.
• Strong understanding of Basel Accords and Solvency II.
• Proficiency in SAS, R or Python.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify, assess, and monitor various risks (credit, market, operational, liquidity, compliance).
• Develop and implement risk policies, procedures, and controls.
• Conduct in-depth risk analysis and stress testing of portfolios and business units.
• Prepare risk reports and present findings to senior management and committees.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and best practices.
• Collaborate with departments to embed a strong risk culture.
• Develop and maintain risk models and KRIs.
• Monitor KRIs and advise on mitigation strategies.
• Stay updated on emerging risks and industry trends.
• Contribute to the risk appetite statement.
