Placements24 seeks an experienced RF Engineer to design, optimize, and analyze wireless networks in Richards Bay, KwaZulu-Natal. You will drive site surveys, drive-test analysis, and tuning to enhance signal quality and capacity while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of RF engineering experience in telecommunications.
• Deep knowledge of RF propagation, interference analysis, and link budgets.
• Experience with 2G/3G/4G/5G mobile technologies is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, plan, and deploy RF networks including cellular sites.
• Optimize RF networks for coverage, capacity and QoS.
• Conduct RF site surveys and acceptance testing.
• Analyze drive test data and performance metrics.
• Collaborate with planning, operations, and field teams.
• Maintain RF design documentation and regulatory compliance.
