About the Role

You will work on-site and remotely, conducting site surveys, analyzing drive test data, and implementing strategies to enhance network performance. Key Responsibilities

• Design, plan, and deploy RF networks, including cellular sites and wireless backhaul solutions.


• Optimize existing RF networks to improve coverage, capacity, and quality of service.


• Conduct RF site surveys, feasibility studies, and acceptance testing.


• Analyze drive test data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.


• Develop and implement RF tuning and configuration strategies.


• Troubleshoot RF-related network issues and develop effective solutions.


• Collaborate with network planning, operations, and field teams to ensure seamless network deployment and performance.


• Evaluate new RF technologies and equipment for potential implementation.


• Maintain accurate RF design documentation and databases.


• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.


• Prepare technical reports and present findings to stakeholders.


• Mentor junior RF engineers and provide technical guidance.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.


• Minimum of 6 years of experience in RF engineering within the telecommunications sector.


• In-depth knowledge of RF principles, including signal propagation, interference analysis, and link budgets.


• Experience with mobile network technologies (e.g., GSM, UMTS, LTE, 5G NR).


• Proficiency with RF planning and optimization tools (e.g., Atoll, Planet).


• Experience with drive test tools and data analysis (e.g., TEMS, Nemo).


• Strong understanding of antenna systems, propagation modeling, and site acquisition processes.


• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.


• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.


• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
