Job summary

MyCareerCraft is seeking a Retirement Fund Consultant to join our niche firm in the employee benefits space. You will manage a portfolio of clients, deliver proactive consulting advice, and ensure exceptional client service and satisfaction.

The role requires FAIS accreditation, 3–5 years in SA employee benefits, strong knowledge of retirement funds, governance & legislation, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• FAIS accreditation is required and compliance with FAIS Code of Conduct.
• 3–5 years experience in the South African employee benefits industry.
• Strong knowledge of retirement funds, group risk benefits, governance & legislation.
• Practical experience with freestanding funds.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive, client-centric approach with ability to work independently & manage deadlines in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and retain client portfolios.
• Provide consulting advice on retirement funds, legislation, governance & group risk products.
• Conduct risk rebrokes and advise on product & structures.
• Prepare & present client meeting packs, provide secretarial services.
• Conduct member presentations where required.
