Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Residential Architect to design beautiful, functional homes in and around Bloemfontein, collaborating closely with homeowners from concept to final walkthroughs. You will manage projects through all phases, ensure quality, navigate codes, and coordinate with engineers and contractors.

A degree in Architecture, SACAP registration, 5+ years of residential design experience, and strong Revit/AutoCAD skills are essential.

Qualifications

Degree in Architecture and SACAP registration.
5+ years of experience in designing residential buildings.
Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
Strong understanding of residential building codes and construction techniques.
Excellent client communication and project management skills.
Portfolio showcasing high-quality residential design work is essential.

Responsibilities

Engage with clients to understand needs, preferences and budget.
Develop architectural designs, floor plans, and elevations for new homes and renovations.
Prepare detailed construction drawings, specs, and documentation for permits and construction.
Coordinate with structural engineers, contractors, and other consultants.
Oversee construction activities to ensure design compliance and quality.
Provide design expertise throughout the project lifecycle.
