Qualifications

• PhD required in Analytical Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, or related field.
• Minimum 6 years hands-on experience in analytical method development and validation.
• Expertise with chromatography (HPLC, GC) and MS techniques.
• Experience with UV-Vis, IR, or NMR spectroscopy is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in data analysis software and LIMS.

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Research Scientist with expertise in analytical chemistry to join their state-of-the-art research facility in Welkom . This role is crucial for developing and validating sophisticated analytical methods to support a variety of research and quality control initiatives. You will be responsible for operating and maintaining advanced analytical instrumentation, interpreting complex data, and ensuring the accuracy and reliability of all analytical results. The successful candidate will be a key contributor to our scientific endeavors in the Free State .

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and validate analytical methods using techniques such as HPLC, GC-MS, and spectroscopy.


• Perform routine and non-routine sample analysis, ensuring adherence to strict quality control standards.
