Placements24 is seeking a highly experienced Senior Renewable Energy Consultant to lead client engagements from any location in South Africa. You will shape renewable energy strategies, conduct feasibility studies, and guide policy and market decisions for projects nationwide and internationally.

The role requires extensive expertise in renewables, project finance, and market analysis, with the ability to mentor a global, remote team and drive growth through strategic advisory services.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in Engineering, Economics, Finance, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive renewable energy consulting experience.
• Strong expertise in renewable energy technologies and market analysis.

About the Role

This is a fully remote position, allowing you to contribute your expertise from anywhere within South Africa , impacting projects nationwide and internationally. You will be responsible for leading client engagements, developing renewable energy strategies, conducting feasibility studies, and advising on policy and market dynamics. This role requires a deep understanding of renewable technologies, project finance, and market trends to guide clients through complex energy transitions. Requirements

• Strong knowledge of project finance, economic modeling, and energy market analysis.
• Proven track record of successfully managing complex client projects and delivering strategic advice.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with strong presentation capabilities.
