The ideal candidate has a robust portfolio, proficiency in Unity or Unreal, and advanced 3D skills using Blender or Maya. This fully remote role offers flexible collaboration with an international team.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in developing VR/AR content, with a strong portfolio showcasing interactive projects.
• Bachelor-level degree or equivalent practical experience in a related field.
• Proficiency with game engines such as Unity or Unreal Engine for VR/AR development.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement immersive VR/AR experiences from concept to final delivery.
• Create engaging 3D environments, characters, and interactive elements using industry-leading VR/AR development tools and engines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including game designers, artists, and programmers to ensure a cohesive and high-quality user experience.
• Develop and refine user interfaces and interaction models specific to VR/AR platforms.
• Optimize performance of VR/AR applications for various target hardware, ensuring smooth frame rates and seamless immersion.
• Conduct user testing and iterate on designs based on feedback to enhance usability and engagement.
• Stay current with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in VR/AR development and immersive storytelling.
• Contribute to the conceptualization and pitching of new immersive projects.
• Create compelling visual assets and art direction for VR/AR content.
• Document design processes and technical specifications.
