Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is hiring Sales Development Representatives across South Africa who are hungry to open doors and drive pipeline. As an SDR, you own the top of the funnel: researching ideal accounts, identifying decision makers and booking qualified discovery meetings with potential clients.

This role focuses on thoughtful outreach, not spam, using tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and Salesforce to achieve volume goals while keeping every touchpoint high quality.

Qualifications

• 2 years in SDR/BDR or similar role; agency or SaaS experience preferred.
• Strong written communication and the ability to personalize outreach.
• Experience with outbound tools and managing your own pipeline.
• Gritty, curious, coachable and self-driven.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for our Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
