Job summary

Placements24, on behalf of a forward-thinking Telecoms client, seeks a Senior Full Stack Developer for their remote-first engineering team in South Africa. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of professional full-stack web development experience.
• Proficiency in front-end frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js).
• Strong backend experience (Node.js, Python Django/Flask, Java, or Ruby).
• Solid understanding of SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containers (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and agile methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
• Strong communication and remote collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable full-stack web applications.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to define features.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Implement intuitive, responsive front-end interfaces.
