Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer for a fully remote role supporting infrastructure initiatives with projects potentially around the Paarl area but executed remotely. You will lead complex civil engineering projects, coordinating with stakeholders across locations and leveraging digital tools to drive on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 9 years of progressive civil engineering project management experience.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects remotely with strong organizational skills.
• Familiarity with South African civil engineering standards and practices; Pr. Eng is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and execution of civil engineering projects from initiation to closure.
• Manage project scope, budgets, schedules, and resources in a remote setting.
• Coordinate with design teams, contractors, and clients through virtual communication channels.
• Ensure compliance with relevant engineering standards, regulations, and safety protocols.
• Identify and mitigate project risks through proactive planning and communication.
• Prepare progress reports and technical documentation for stakeholders.
