Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Remote Blockchain Auditor to join our cyber security team. You will conduct comprehensive audits of smart contracts, dApps, and blockchain protocols from a home office, applying deep expertise to identify vulnerabilities and guide remediation.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in software or security audits, 2+ years in blockchain security, and strong knowledge of Solidity. This fully remote role offers flexible hours and a supportive, async team environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS/Cybersecurity.
• 4+ years in software development or security auditing; 2+ years in blockchain security.
• Solid knowledge of Solidity; Vyper and Rust are a plus.
• Familiar with common vulnerabilities: reentrancy, over/underflow, front-running.
• Experience with security analysis tools and frameworks.
• Strong written and verbal communication for reporting.

Responsibilities

• Audit smart contracts written in Solidity, Vyper, and Rust for security flaws.
• Analyze dApp architecture for vulnerabilities and gas inefficiencies.
• Document security risks with clear remediation recommendations.
• Perform penetration testing and threat modeling for blockchain systems.
• Stay updated on exploits, vectors, and best practices.
• Collaborate with developers to clarify findings and remediation.
• Contribute to internal auditing tools and frameworks.
• Write detailed audit reports for clients.
• Share knowledge in team sessions and contribute to expertise.
