Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Remote Blockchain Security Analyst to join their globally distributed team. In this fully remote role, you will identify and mitigate security risks within blockchain protocols, smart contracts, and decentralized applications.

You will conduct security audits, vulnerability assessments, and penetration tests to safeguard our client's crypto ecosystem and digital assets. Working independently and with engineering teams worldwide, you will implement security

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity with a focus on blockchain security and smart contract auditing.
• Deep understanding of common smart contract vulnerabilities (e.g., reentrancy, integer overflow).
• Proficiency with security analysis tools and techniques relevant to blockchain technology.
• Experience with static and dynamic analysis of code, particularly in languages like Solidity.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, fully capable of remote work.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive security audits and code reviews of smart contracts and blockchain protocols.
• Identify, assess, and report on vulnerabilities, threats, and risks within blockchain systems.
• Conduct penetration testing and develop remediation strategies for identified security issues.
