Placements24 is seeking a highly experienced Remote Senior Blockchain Engineer to lead key development initiatives in a 100% remote setting. You will design, develop, and deploy scalable blockchain solutions, mentor junior engineers, and drive technical excellence across crypto projects.
The ideal candidate has 7+ years in software with at least 4 years in blockchain, hands-on with Ethereum/Polygon/Solana, and expert back-end skills (Go, Rust, Node.js) plus cryptography and distributed systems
Qualifications
- 7+ years of professional software development experience, with at least 4 years in blockchain.
- Experience building scalable decentralized applications and dApps.
- Strong cryptography, network protocols, and distributed systems knowledge.
- Excellent written and verbal communication for remote teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead design and implementation of complex blockchain systems and dApps.
- Develop high-performance, secure smart contracts (Solidity).
- Architect and build robust APIs and back-end services.
- Collaborate with distributed teams and stakeholders via remote channels.
- Conduct code reviews, security audits, and performance testing.
- Mentor junior engineers and establish remote development best practices.
