Placements24 is seeking a Senior Real Estate Valuer to join a fully remote team in South Africa. You will assess market values for diverse portfolios across financing, investment, and due diligence while delivering defensible valuations. Remote-first setup enables work from anywhere in SA, with focus on Gauteng region dynamics.

The role requires extensive valuation expertise, strong analytical skills and the ability to liaise with clients and professionals in a remote environment.

Qualifications

• Professional qualification in Property Valuations and registration as a Professional Valuer.
• Minimum 7 years of post-qualification valuation experience.
• Experience valuing residential, commercial, and industrial properties.
• Proficiency with valuation software and MS Office, especially Excel.
• Strong analytical and report-writing skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Conduct property inspections remotely or with local resources.
• Research market data, comparables, rent income, and development potential.
• Prepare comprehensive valuation reports compliant with standards.
• Apply sales comparison, cost, and income approaches.
• Engage with clients, lenders and lawyers to gather information.
• Stay updated on market trends, regulations and Gauteng dynamics.
• Ensure data integrity and accurate valuation documentation.
• Provide expert advisory on valuation matters.
