Qualifications

About the Role

Our client, a dynamic and forward-thinking real estate investment firm, is seeking a highly analytical and experienced Senior Real Estate Investment Analyst to join their expanding team. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere within South Africa, with a primary focus on the Gauteng region. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of real estate markets, financial modeling, and investment strategy. You will play a crucial role in identifying, evaluating, and executing profitable real estate investment opportunities. This role demands a proactive approach, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a virtual environment. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to identify potential real estate investment opportunities across various asset classes.


• Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models for property valuation, cash flow projections, and investment return analysis.


• Perform due diligence on potential acquisitions, including financial, legal, and physical property assessments.


• Prepare detailed investment memorandums and presentations for senior management and investment committee review.


• Monitor existing portfolio performance, identify risks and opportunities, and recommend strategic asset management actions.


• Build and maintain relationships with brokers, developers, and other industry professionals.


• Stay abreast of market trends, economic conditions, and regulatory changes impacting the real estate investment landscape.


• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a remote setting to ensure seamless deal execution and portfolio management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, or a related field; Master's degree or CFA designation is a plus.


• Minimum of 5 years of experience in real estate investment analysis, financial modeling, or corporate finance, specifically within the real estate sector.


• Proven track record of successfully identifying and analyzing real estate investment opportunities.
