Placements24 is seeking an experienced Real Estate Property Developer to lead development projects in the Paarl region, overseeing from feasibility to sales while ensuring on-time delivery and budget adherence.

The role combines hybrid planning with on-site supervision, requires a strong track record, and offers significant autonomy, competitive compensation, and a benefits package in the Western Cape.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Property Development, Urban Planning, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in real estate property development.
• Proven track record of delivering residential, commercial, or mixed-use projects.
• Strong understanding of Paarl property market, local regulations, and development challenges.
• Excellent project management, negotiation, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify and acquire land for development projects in and around Paarl.
• Oversee the entire development process from feasibility to construction and sales/leasing.
• Manage budgets, timelines and resources to ensure profitability and timely completion.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers and contractors to ensure quality and compliance.
• Negotiate contracts with suppliers, contractors and stakeholders.
• Ensure developments comply with zoning laws, codes and environmental regulations.
