Placements24 is seeking a Senior Real Estate Appraiser to join our client in Centurion, Gauteng. Lead valuation projects across residential, commercial, and industrial properties, mentor staff, and ensure high-quality reports that support financing, litigation, and investment decisions.

The successful candidate will possess a professional valuation qualification, a Fidelity Fund Certificate, and at least six years of relevant experience, with strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

A recognized professional qualification in Property Valuation, Real Estate, or related field.
Minimum 6 years of progressive experience in property appraisal, with commercial and residential valuation.
Valid Fidelity Fund Certificate (FFC) and registration with a professional body.
Expert knowledge of valuation methodologies and their application.
Proficiency in appraisal software and MS Office.

Responsibilities

Lead complex valuations for residential, commercial, and industrial properties.
Analyze market data, trends, and comps to support valuations.
Prepare comprehensive appraisal reports for mortgage lending, litigation, and investment analysis.
Mentor junior appraisers and ensure quality control.
Liaise with clients, lenders, legal professionals, and stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, ethics, and legal requirements.
Stay updated on property law and market conditions.
Develop relationships within real estate and financial sectors.
