Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, or a related quantitative field.
• Master's degree or MBA is a plus.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in real estate analysis or related analytical role.
• Demonstrated expertise in financial modelling, valuation techniques, and market research methodologies.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with financial software and databases (e.g., Argus, CoStar, Bloomberg) is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced office environment.
• Team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Thorough understanding of the South African real estate market, particularly in the Western Cape.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Responsabilidades

• Perform detailed market research and analysis of real estate trends, economic indicators, and demographic shifts affecting investment opportunities.
• Conduct comprehensive financial modelling, including discounted cash flow (DCF) analysis, sensitivity analysis, and return on investment (ROI) calculations for potential acquisitions.
• Evaluate property valuations and comparable market analyses to determine fair market value.
• Assist in the due diligence process for potential real estate acquisitions and dispositions, including financial, legal, and physical property assessments.
• Prepare detailed investment memorandums, reports, and presentations for senior management and investment committees.
• Monitor the performance of existing portfolio assets and provide regular performance updates and recommendations.
• Collaborate with internal teams (acquisitions, development, asset management) and external parties (brokers, appraisers, lenders) to gather information and support decision-making.
• Stay abreast of regulatory changes, industry best practices, and emerging investment strategies in the real estate sector.
• Identify and assess potential risks and opportunities associated with real estate investments.
• Contribute to the development of long-term strategic plans for the company's real estate portfolio.
