Placements24 is seeking a highly analytical Senior RAN Performance Engineer for a hybrid role in Polokwane, Limpopo. You will monitor, analyze, and optimize RAN performance across 4G and 5G networks to deliver exceptional service quality and customer experience.

You will collaborate with RF, network ops, and planning teams, using tools like TEMS, Nemo, Actix, and WindCatcher, and apply scripting (Python/SQL) for data analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in RAN performance analysis and optimization within the telecoms industry.
• In-depth knowledge of 4G LTE and 5G NR technologies, including RAN principles.
• Proficiency with RAN performance analysis tools (TEMS, Nemo, Actix, WindCatcher).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
• Experience with Python or SQL for data analysis.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a hybrid team environment.
• Familiarity with South African mobile network standards and regulations.
