Job summary

Qualifications

• Senior Certificate or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 3 years of practical experience as a provincial inspector.
• Valid Code B/EB driving license (or higher).
• No criminal record.

Responsibilities

• Enforce Road Traffic, Public Passenger, Transport and other relevant legislations.
• Examine vehicles and monitor vehicle fitness and roadworthiness.
• Provide visible traffic control/policing and promote crime prevention activities.
• Perform all administrative activities and related duties.
• Assess road conditions; mentor/provide guidance to probationary inspectors; supervisory functions.
