Gauteng Provincial Government is seeking a senior official for the TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT CORRIDOR CORDINATION, based at GAUTENG FREEWAY UNIT X1. The role requires 3–5 years’ supervisory experience and 7–10 years in traffic law enforcement, with all relevant driving licences (A and EC).

You will oversee operational law enforcement plans, monitor performance, coordinate with local authorities, manage resources, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years’ supervisory experience.
• 7–10 years working experience in the traffic law enforcement field.
• All valid relevant Driving Licences (A and EC).
• Knowledge of Traffic Management policies and regulations and related legislation.
• Strong planning, organising, monitoring and leadership abilities.

Responsabilités

• Manage the implementation of operational law enforcement plan and update environmental analyses for planning.
• Develop operational plans for station/centre based on provincial annual performance plan.
• Coordinate stakeholder relations with local authorities and other agencies.
• Monitor budget, expenditures and ensure assets and records are maintained.
• Lead and manage staff, oversee performance, training and team-building activities.
• Ensure compliance with Acts, policies and procedures of the Department.
