The role demands a Master's in Electrical Engineering, Pr.Eng registration, 7+ years of experience, and hands-on expertise with ETAP, ASPEN, and DIGSILENT, plus strong fault analysis and SCADA knowledge.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with focus on Power Systems Protection.
• Pr.Eng designation is mandatory for this senior role.
• Minimum 7 years designing protection and control systems for power utilities or industrial facilities.
• Experience with protective relays, fault calculations, and system studies.

Responsibilities

• Design, engineer, and commission protection and control schemes for medium and high-voltage substations.
• Develop protection settings, logic diagrams, and schematics for protective relays.
• Perform fault and coordination studies to ensure protection selectivity and system stability.
• Specify protection and control equipment including relays, breakers, panels, and communications.
• Review FATs and SATs; provide field support during installation and commissioning.
• Create and maintain single-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with system operators and planning engineers to ensure network integrity.
