Placements24 is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager in Midrand, Gauteng, to lead complex enterprise technology initiatives through full lifecycle. You will drive plans, budgets, and cross-functional collaboration with developers, analysts, and designers, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery.

The role requires strong leadership, stakeholder management, and proficiency with PM tools and methodologies (PMI/Prince2/Agile). A hybrid work model in Gauteng is available.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of proven experience in project management, enterprise-level technology projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
• PMP or Prince2 certification is highly desirable.
• Experience with MS Project, JIRA, Asana; knowledge of Agile, Waterfall or Hybrid methodologies.
• Strong SDLC and IT infrastructure understanding.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Experience managing project budgets and P&L.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive project plans, defining scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements.

Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of proven experience in project management, with a strong emphasis on enterprise-level technology projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• PMP or Prince2 certification is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated expertise in project management software (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Asana) and methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and IT infrastructure.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Proven ability to manage complex budgets and P&L responsibilities.
• Experience in risk management, issue resolution, and change management.
• Ability to work effectively in a Hybrid work model, balancing remote and in-office collaboration in Midrand, Gauteng .
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
