Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to lead major infrastructure projects in Randburg, Gauteng. The role combines on-site supervision with planning and administration tasks performed remotely, offering a hybrid work arrangement.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in construction project management, strong leadership and a deep understanding of project management methodologies and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management within construction and infrastructure.
• PMP certification is highly desirable and beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Lead all phases of construction projects from planning to closeout.
• Develop detailed plans, schedules, budgets and resources.
• Oversee site operations ensuring safety, quality and specifications.
• Coordinate with contractors, architects, engineers and stakeholders.
• Monitor progress, identify risks and implement mitigations.
• Ensure procurement of materials and equipment on time and cost effectively.
• Maintain strong client relationships and satisfaction throughout the project.
• Prepare regular progress reports for senior management and clients.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, permits and legal requirements.
• Lead and mentor project teams to foster collaboration and productivity.
