Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager to lead critical electrical infrastructure upgrade projects in Klerksdorp, North West. You will drive end-to-end management of substations, transmission lines, and distribution networks on-site, coordinating multidisciplinary teams and contractors.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, 8+ years PM experience (5+ in electrical power systems), and familiarity with North West utility environments.

Formación

• 8+ years of project management experience, with 5+ years in electrical power systems, transmission and distribution.
• Experience managing projects in the North West province or similar utility environments is essential.
• Professional Project Management certification (e.g., PMP) is highly desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Lead planning, execution, and successful completion of complex electrical infrastructure projects.
• Develop detailed project plans including scope, schedules, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
• Oversee design, procurement, construction, and commissioning phases of upgrades.
• Manage relationships with internal engineering teams, contractors, suppliers, and regulators.
• Ensure all projects meet safety, quality, and environmental regulations.
• Manage project finances, including cost control and forecasting.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, implementing proactive solutions.
• Monitor progress via site inspections and reports to senior management.
• Ensure effective communication and coordination among stakeholders.
• Lead and mentor project teams to foster high performance and safety.
