Job summary

Set Consulting seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead large-scale renewable energy and energy storage projects in South Africa. You will manage construction through commissioning, coordinate engineering, procurement and contracts, and ensure delivery on time, on budget and to quality standards.

The role requires a strong leadership presence, extensive experience in IPP/developer environments, and the ability to handle commercial, contractual and stakeholder challenges across projects in South

Qualifications

Degree or equivalent in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
Minimum 10 years’ experience on large-scale construction projects.
At least 5 years in a project management/leadership role on large projects.
Strong renewable energy / power generation experience.
Experience managing EPC contracts and major project contracts.

Responsibilities

Lead delivery of large-scale renewable energy and energy storage projects.
Oversee construction through commissioning and handover.
Develop and implement PM plans, processes and controls.
Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams across engineering, construction, HSE, quality, planning and commercial functions.
Monitor KPIs, costs, risks and contractor performance; report to senior management.
