Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior Production Technician for its Pretoria, Gauteng facility. You will operate and monitor advanced production machinery, perform maintenance, and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues to keep lines running safely and efficiently.

You will lead junior technicians, install new equipment, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while driving process improvements and quality checks to meet high standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Production Technician in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Experience with PLC systems and industrial automation is advantageous.
• Knowledge of health and safety procedures in manufacturing.
• Ability to operate and maintain various production machinery.
• Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Relevant technical qualification (NQF Level 4/5 in Electrical/Mechanical/Mechatronics) is required.
