Job summary

Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc. seeks a Senior Production Engineer to support NAVSEA from our Washington, DC office. You will develop, field, and sustain high‑grade weapons systems with full production engineering support and government oversight.

You will coordinate ship construction needs and assess ECP impacts across multiple ship classes. Ideal candidates have a minimum of ten years in complex naval engineering, with strong requirements analysis, risk management, and obsolescence

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in an Engineering or related technical field.
At least ten (10) years of experience in detailed, complex engineering activities for Surface Navy Weapons Systems.
Experience with requirements analysis and technical reviews, inter-agency collaboration.
Experience with production engineering, risk management, and obsolescence management.
Active DoD TOP SECRET clearance, and ability to maintain it.

Responsibilities

Develop, field, and sustain operationally superior weapons systems / combat systems.
Provide full spectrum of production engineering support and oversight of Government-led production management.
Coordinate new ship construction requirements and evaluate ECP impacts on new builds.
Deliver production recommendations to program stakeholders for Surface Navy weapons areas.
