The role requires a Bachelor's in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering and at least seven years in production chemistry, with expertise in corrosion inhibition, scale prevention, and demulsification, plus strong analytical

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years in production chemistry, preferably Oil & Gas.
• Experience in corrosion inhibition, scale prevention, and demulsification.
• Experience with laboratory analyses and equipment.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, test, and implement chemical treatment programs for oil and gas facilities.
• Investigate and resolve production chemistry challenges including scaling, corrosion, and emulsions.
• Monitor and analyze chemical performance data to optimize dosages and strategies.
• Provide technical support to field operations on chemical applications and safety protocols.
• Conduct laboratory analysis and interpret results to support development and QA.
• Stay updated on new technologies in production chemistry relevant to the Western Cape.
