Job summary

Morae Global is hiring a Senior Product Manager to shape GenAI-powered legal tech solutions from Cape Town. You will collaborate with Engineering, Design, Legal SMEs, Customer Success, Product Marketing, and GTM teams to turn customer needs into impactful features.

You will lead agile delivery, write user stories, and validate features with customer research while aligning with regulatory requirements and market needs.

Responsibilities

• Translate company and product vision into actionable product strategies and roadmaps.
• Prioritise initiatives based on business objectives, customer insights, and technical feasibility.

• Partner with Product Marketing on positioning and go-to-market strategies.
• Design and validate GenAI-powered features for legal workflows.
• Collaborate with Engineering to apply agentic frameworks and adaptive logic.
• Identify and test AI/ML applications that enhance productivity and compliance.
• Lead sprint planning, backlog refinement, and day-to-day product execution with Agile squads.
• Write clear user stories and product requirements for rapid iteration.

Morae Global is looking for a talented Senior Product Manager to join our dynamic and growing Product team, helping redefine how legal professionals work through cutting-edge technology.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping the product roadmap, feature development, and user experience of our GenAI-powered legal solutions.

You’ll work closely with Engineering, Design, Legal SMEs, Customer Success, Product Marketing, and Go-to-Market teams to turn customer needs and innovative ideas into impactful products.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate company and product vision into actionable product strategies and roadmaps.
• Prioritise initiatives based on business objectives, customer insights, and technical feasibility.
• Maintain a strong understanding of the legal technology landscape, user needs, and emerging technology trends.
• Partner with Product Marketing on product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies.
• Design and validate GenAI-powered features for legal workflows, including drafting, summarisation, and search.
• Collaborate with Engineering to apply agentic frameworks and adaptive logic to product experiences.
• Identify and test innovative applications of AI/ML that enhance legal productivity, insight, and compliance.

Execution & Delivery

• Lead sprint planning, backlog refinement, and day-to-day product execution with Agile squads.
• Write clear user stories and product requirements to enable effective and rapid iteration.
• Work closely with Engineering and QA to support timely, high-quality product releases.
• Apply Lean Product Management principles to guide decision-making and continuous improvement.
• Manage product roadmaps and communicate priorities effectively.
• Conduct customer research, interviews, and feedback sessions to validate features and inform roadmap priorities.
• Partner with Legal SMEs and Customer Success to understand evolving user needs and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor product KPIs and use data-driven insights to drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with Product Marketing to support positioning, competitive insights, and value proposition development.
• Work closely with Engineering, Design, and other stakeholders to maintain alignment between product vision and execution.
• Contribute to a culture of experimentation, curiosity, collaboration, and customer focus.
