About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Procurement Specialist to join their dynamic procurement team, operating in a fully remote capacity. This pivotal role involves managing and optimizing the company's sourcing strategies and supplier relationships to ensure the efficient acquisition of goods and services. You will play a critical part in driving cost savings, improving quality, and ensuring supply chain resilience from the convenience of your home office. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans for various categories of goods and services to achieve cost-effective and high-quality procurement.
• Conduct thorough market research, supplier analysis, and negotiation of contracts to secure favorable terms and pricing.
• Manage end-to-end procurement processes, including requisitioning, P.O. generation, and invoice reconciliation, ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key internal stakeholders and external suppliers to foster strategic partnerships.
• Monitor supplier performance against contractual obligations, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions when necessary.
• Analyze procurement data and market trends to identify opportunities for cost reduction and process optimization.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a related field.
• Proven track record of successful negotiation, contract management, and strategic sourcing initiatives.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make informed recommendations.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills, essential for remote collaboration.
• Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems; experience with e-procurement platforms is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field; CIPS or equivalent certification is advantageous.
