Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic procurement plans for all logistics and distribution related services, including transportation (road, air, sea), warehousing, and freight forwarding.
• Lead the negotiation and management of complex contracts with 3PL providers, carriers, and other logistics partners.
• Drive cost reduction initiatives through market analysis, supplier consolidation, and process optimization.
• Establish and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key suppliers and internal stakeholders across operations and finance.
• Implement and manage supplier performance management programs to ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met and exceeded.
• Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, ensuring business continuity and operational resilience.
• Oversee procurement processes, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
• Mentor and develop a team of procurement professionals within the logistics domain.

Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in procurement, with at least 5 years in a management role focused on logistics and distribution services.
• Demonstrated expertise in negotiating and managing large-scale contracts within the transportation and logistics industry.
• In-depth knowledge of global and domestic freight markets, warehousing solutions, and supply chain technologies.
• Proven track record of achieving significant cost savings and performance improvements.
• Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and decision-making capabilities.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
