This role is critical in ensuring the efficient and cost-effective management of the entire supply chain, from procurement to final delivery. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of logistics, inventory management, and transportation, coupled with strong leadership and analytical skills.

This hybrid role offers a balance between on-site operational oversight and remote strategic planning, providing flexibility and promoting efficient management. You will be key in optimizing our client's supply chain network.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all aspects of the logistics and supply chain operations.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize inventory levels, reduce costs, and improve delivery times.
• Manage relationships with suppliers, carriers, and third-party logistics providers.
• Ensure efficient warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and dispatch.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of supply chain software and ERP systems.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, managing both on-site and remote responsibilities.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
• Experience in the Benoni, Gauteng region is an advantage.
• Knowledge of international shipping and customs regulations is a plus.
