Key Responsibilities

• Stay current with evolving process safety regulations, industry best practices, and new technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in process safety engineering within the Oil & Gas or petrochemical industry.
• In-depth knowledge of PSM elements (e.g., OSHA , EPA regulations, or equivalent international standards).
• Proven experience in conducting and leading various types of hazard analyses (HAZOP, LOPA, etc.).
• Strong understanding of risk assessment methodologies and mitigation strategies.
• Experience with safety instrumented systems (SIS) and quantitative risk assessment (QRA) is highly desirable.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and report-writing skills.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively and independently in a remote environment.
• Proficiency with relevant safety software and digital collaboration platforms.
