Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Remote Senior Process Safety Engineer to join a global engineering team. You will design, maintain and improve process safety management systems for chemical facilities worldwide, while working remotely.

You will conduct HAZOP studies, risk assessments, and incident investigations, providing expert guidance on PSM, LOPA, and SIL to operations, engineering and maintenance teams. This remote-first role supports safety across the Oil & Gas sector.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related technical field.
• 7+ years of experience in process safety engineering, preferably chemical/oil & gas.
• In-depth knowledge of PSM elements, HAZOP, LOPA, SIL, and safety system design.
• Experience with incident investigation and root cause analysis methodologies.
• Excellent communication and ability to work effectively remotely.
