Placements24 in Midrand, Gauteng, seeks a Senior Process Engineer with extensive Oil & Gas experience to lead and optimize processing operations. The role focuses on maximizing efficiency, safety, and environmental compliance while driving continuous improvement across production facilities.

You will design improvements, perform process simulations, monitor performance, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with operations, maintenance and project teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in process engineering within the oil & gas industry.
• Experience with process simulation software (HYSYS, Aspen Plus).
• Strong understanding of oil and gas processing technologies and equipment.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in technical report writing and presentation.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and environmental standards in oil & gas.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
• Experience in the Gauteng region is advantageous.

Key Responsibilities
